This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed and delivered for purchases made on vashyavastra.com.
Serviceable locations

– Within Kerala: Delivery across all districts in Kerala.
– Outside Kerala (within India): Shipping to most PIN codes serviceable by India Post. If a location is not serviceable, our team will contact to arrange alternatives or cancel with a refund.
Shipping partners
- Courier partner: India Post for all deliveries.
- Tracking: Tracking details are shared by email/SMS once the order is dispatched.
Shipping fees
- Kerala: Free shipping on all orders.
- Outside Kerala: Shipping charges apply. Exact fees are shown at checkout based on destination and parcel weight/volume.
- Any promotional free‑shipping offers will be clearly mentioned and may be limited to specific products, cart values, or periods.
Handling and dispatch time
- Standard processing: 1–3 business days after order confirmation.
- Bespoke/alterations: Additional time may be required; estimated dispatch will be shared at order confirmation.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
Estimated delivery timelines
- Within Kerala: Typically 2–5 business days from dispatch.
- Outside Kerala: Typically 4–10 business days from dispatch (destination and India Post service levels may affect this).
- During festive seasons, sale periods, or unforeseen events (weather, strikes), delivery timelines may extend.
Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Remote locations may take longer.
Order tracking
A tracking link/ID will be emailed once the order is shipped. Tracking events may take up to 24 hours to reflect after dispatch.
Address accuracy and delivery attempts
- Please ensure the shipping address, contact number, and PIN code are accurate. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may cause delays or returns.
- If a delivery attempt fails due to unavailability, India Post may re‑attempt as per their policy. If an order is returned due to repeated failed attempts or incorrect address, reshipment can be arranged with additional shipping charges (where applicable).
Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is not available. All orders must be prepaid at checkout.
Multiple items in one order
Orders with multiple items may ship together or in separate parcels based on availability and packaging. Tracking will be shared for each parcel if split.
Undeliverable or delayed shipments
- For delays or non‑serviceable areas identified after order placement, we will contact with options: alternate address, revised timeline, or cancellation with a refund.
- While we are not liable for delays after handover to the courier, our team will assist with escalations to India Post if needed.
Damaged, missing, or wrong items
- If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, ask the delivery agent to note it and contact us within 48 hours with photos/videos of the outer parcel, inner packaging, and product.
- For missing items or wrong product received, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with order details and unboxing photos/videos.
International shipping
Not offered at this time. Orders can be shipped within India only.
